An art foundation created in 2004 by the private collector Antoine de Galbert, a prominent figure on the French contemporary art scene.
Exhibitions from his collection and temporary exhibitions of contemporary art are featured here, with the aim of promoting art to a wider audience. The foundation also commissions artists independently, helping them to express themselves without financial constraint, in the hope it will lead to exciting new work.
The old factory warehouse space is enormous, with four large rooms dedicated to showcasing modern art, all built within the red building from which the foundation gets its name. There's a cool café inside, as well as 'Bookstorming', a specialist art bookshop.
